I believe every parent or teacher would know the elation I am talking about. This non-fiction short story not only empowers and enriches the lives of young children; it gives teachers , caregivers, or parents an invaluable resource for teaching the most up to date strategies and techniques while making reading fun in the process. This story is based on a young four year old girl and her struggles and successes in becoming a fluent reader. I decided to write this book for several reasons, first this book would benefit anyone who wants their child or children to increase their understanding and awareness of word patterns and the basic rules of phonics. I am quite impressed with the progress my four and five year old student have made towards becoming excellent readers.
